INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR. INVISIBLE NETWORKS: PATRONAGE IN OLD KINGDOM FUNERARY CULT
El Seminario International Invisible Networks: patronage in Old Kingdom funerary cult fue organizado por el Proyecto de investigación “Redes Invisibles: patronazgo en el culto funerario del Reino Antiguo” financiado por el Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades del Gobierno de España (PID2022-142974NA-I00). Celebrado el 6 de marzo de 2025 en el Aula Diego Angulo de la Facultad de Geografía e Historia de la Universidad de Sevilla, el seminario reunió a todos los miembros del proyecto quienes trasladaron los últimos avances de sus investigaciones a los integrantes de la comunidad universitaria y al público interesado.
The International Seminar Invisible Networks: patronage in Old Kingdom funerary cult was organised by the research project ‘Invisible Networks: patronage in Old Kingdom funerary cult’ funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of the Government of Spain (PID2022-142974NA-I00). Held on 6 March 2025 in the Aula Diego Angulo of the Faculty of Geography and History of the University of Seville, the seminar brought together all the members of the project who shared the latest advances in their research with members of the university community and the general public.
CULTO FUNERARIO Y SOCIEDAD EN ELEFANTINA: UNA VENTANA A LAS RELACIONES SOCIALES OCULTASEN UNA SOCIEDAD PROVINCIAL
Conferencia del Dr. Juan Carlos Moreno García (Director de Investigación en el Centre national de la recherche scientifique, París, Francia) centrada en el análisis de las relaciones sociales ocultas en la sociedad provincial del Reino Antiguo, usando como caso de estudio el de la ciudad de Elefantina y sus necrópolis.
Lecture by Dr Juan Carlos Moreno García (Director of Research at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique, Paris, France) focused on the analysis of hidden social relations in the provincial society of the Old Kingdom, using the city of Elephantine and its necropolis as a case study.
